Report to the People
This is ANGDA's third report since its inception and the most exciting yet.
This digital report details our project achievements thus far in our work to
deliver Alaska's natural gas to Alaskans. ANGDA has worked diligently for
the citizens of Alaska over the past six years to offer solutions to the
energy crisis we are facing. Alaska has the largest endowment of un-tapped
natural resources in the nation, the largest of those being natural gas.
Tapping that resource will ensure the energy future of our state for many

Alaska Propane Opportunities Conference a huge success
ANGDA successfully hosted the Alaska Propane Opportunities Conference in
Fairbanks on June 17th. The turnout was more than expected and we'd like to

Environmental Impact Statement
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Alaska District is the lead Federal
agency in the EIS process and URS Alaska, Inc. is the contractor selected to
coordinate the EIS process. For more information please visit

The mission of the seven-member ANGDA board is to develop a natural gas pipeline
for instate use. The board members are appointed by the governor.

Chief Executive Officer
Harold Heinze serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Alaska Natural Gas
Development Authority. Mr. Heinze has been leading ANGDA since 2003 in the
planning, engineering, and development of Alaska’s in-state gas pipeline from
the North Slope.
