Scott was born in Anchorage
and is a lifelong Alaskan. He was a longshoreman at the Port of Anchorage
for 38 years. He is a past member of the Anchorage Port
Commission, chaired the Ship Creek Task Force, and most recently served 3
years on the Anchorage Public Safety Commission, serving as the Chair for 2
years. He was in the first graduating class of "Leadership Anchorage" in
1997.
Scott was the chief sponsor of Ballot Proposition 3 in the 2002 election.
The proposition passed overwhelmingly and established the Alaska Natural Gas
Development Authority as a public corporation of the state.
Governor Murkowski appointed Scott to the first Board of ANGDA in 2003.
His term expires on June 5, 2011. |

Don Benson - Vice Chair |

Don is a project manager and
construction superintendent for New Horizons Telecom Inc., a facility design,
construction and project management firm. He has extensive experience in
managing fuel infrastructure construction projects across Alaska, and currently
holds aboveground fuel tank certification from the Steel Tank Testing Institute.
Don previously had a 20-year career in commercial aviation, working as a
federally certified aviation mechanic, and as a commercial bush pilot delivering
fuel and other cargo throughout the state. He earned his commercial pilot's
rating from Big Bend College in Moses Lake, Washington in 1972, and an airframe
and powerplant certificate at California's Northrop Institute of Technology
in1974.
Benson is a lifelong Alaska resident and descendent of original Palmer
colonists. He was appointed
to the Board by Governor Palin. His term expires on June 5, 2013. |

Bill Jeffress |

Bill, of Anchorage,
is principal consultant and manager for SRK Consulting (US) Inc.’s Alaska
office. He has over 35 years of experience in natural resource management
and development. Over 20 of those years as environmental manager and
engineer in the mining industry, most of which have been in Alaska and as
former director of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources’ Office of
Project Management and Permitting.
Jeffress has a bachelor’s degree in
agriculture from the University of Nevada, Reno.
He was appointed to the Board by Governor Palin on May 29, 2009. His
term expires on June 5, 2012. |

Rick Koch |

Rick Koch, of Kenai, has
served as the city manager for the City of Kenai since 2006. He previously
served as the director of public works for the City of Palmer. A civil
engineer, Koch formerly owned Koch Construction Inc. and also worked at UIC
Construction Inc., Chugach Development Corporation, the North Slope Borough,
the Alaska State Housing Authority and the State Department of
Transportation, among other entities.
He was appointed to the Board by
Governor Parnell on August 30, 2010 and his term expires June 5, 2013. |
